Drag Talon Buidlup

The first of the compoenents to make its way back onto the car was the fuel pump. With the addition of a couple of cross braces to help support the fuel cell we thought that it would also double as a great place to mount the fuel pump.

     

In order to finish up mounting the seat we had to add a rear brace to help stabalize it. A simple T was formed from steel and welded onto the cage structure.



With the rest of the cage complete we had been waiting for the arrival of the parachute mount parts from Competition Engineering in order to finish up before sending it off to paint. The parachute parts are very straight forward to install with the hardest part being to center the hole that had to be cut in the rear fascia.
